Cosmic Artists-Show for the opening
The show for the official opening of the ECh Artistic Gymnastics on Friday, the 8th of April 2011 is performed by the "Cosmic Artists" and supported by the artistic gymnasts of the Berlin clubs.
The internationally known show group consisting mainly of former athletes and gymnasts from Berlin has already had performances in 14 countries, TV-shows as well as large galas and sports events.
The artistic direction of the opening show lies in the experienced hands of Jeanine Fissler, fourth at the Olympic Games 2000 with the rhythmic gymnastics group and Tony Mevius, who toured the world with the Cirque du Soleil with the show Quidam for several years. "The production refers back to all participating nations," reveals Tony Mevius. "Overall 40 participants are integrate in a mix of a presentation of the nations, dynamic floor and acrobatics as well as aerial acrobatics."
