Commemorative stamp
The commemorative stamp for the European Championships Artistic Gymnastics 2011 is available as of the 7th of April 2011.
With the value of 55 + 25 Cents it is part of the plus stamp series - for sports which is issued four times a year by the minister of finance in order to support the Stiftung Deutsche Sporthilfe ('German Sporting Aid Foundation'). In 2011 the themes of the series are dedicated to be the ECh Artistic Gymnastics, the Women´s Soccer World Cup as well as the ECh Hockey in Mönchengladbach.The additional revenues of the stamp sales go directly to the Stiftung Deutsche Sporthilfe ('German Sporting Aid Foundation') of which the artistic gymnasts belonging to the German team also profit.
