281 participants
After the deadline for the definite entries is over, the European Gymnastics Union UEG has announced an entry field of 281 gymnasts from 39 countries for the 2011 Artistic Gymnastics European Championships in Berlin.
172 participants will take part in the men's event. From the overall field of competitors the most participants - 121 - will be seen on floor and pommel horse. With 115 gymnasts the entry field on vault is the smallest. 118 participants take part on rings and parallel bars. The field on high-bar includes 119 gymnasts.
The women's event takes place with overall 109 gymnasts. 107 of them will compete on vault and 104 on uneven bars. The field on beam and floor includes 108 participants.
The deadline for the nominative entries by the participating federations is on March 17th 2011.
